PZG began years ago as an early stage exploration company. The intent is to build reserves and then sell of the company. The company is now a later stage exploration company that is preparing itself for sale in the next 12-24 months. The principals behind PZG have already delivered on the "build then sell" scenario" several times.
There is no reason to believe they can't do this again. The resources are present. Now they need to turn them into reserves.
The company has enough cash on hand to go to 1Q2014.
That really sums it up despite what the bashers say that have no interest in the company.
Agree. Let the pumpers pump and the bashers bash. Anyone that buys or sells stock based on the ranting of either falls into the category of a fool and his/her money are soon parted. 2013 will see the first real action for PZG. I remain of the opinion that they will sell Sleeper then San Miguel, but not both in one deal for the company.
So it's imperative they sell the company within 6-9 months. Otherwise, a purchaser knows their cash position and will string them out until they run out of cash. I hope you're right as I'm in this long, but I'm concerned that this stock does not show significant upticks when the market is strong but shows significant downticks when the market is weak.
Did you ever consider that the price action of PZG is tied more closely to the gold market and mining industry and not the overall market per se? When the gold/mining stocks start moving, so will PZG. Cheers!
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Not sure why the 6-9 month time frame is imperative to you. A purchaser ALREADY knows their cash position and knows they must raise more by 1Q14. This is no secret. They can always raise more cash with good assets. I personally believe late in 2013 is when they are bought out. There will be no "stringing them out." This is a seasoned team.
Wow has this board gone downhill! Did you see my question about San Miguel? I just called Chris at PZG but he was out and will be back this afternoon. So I will give him a call back.
And a big hi to Gary- How are you doing???
P.S. When I first entered this board today I was not signed in thus my ignore list was not in place. Wow-goldisheavy-something like that- he is on my ignore list-is all over the place-he must be a kid from middle school or high school. Kind of weird to keep hanging on a board posting negative stuff-that is why I think it is a kid.
