>>Library Leader Questions Patriot Act
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The president of the American Library Association has one word for the USA Patriot Act's so-called library clause -- ``Kafkaesque.''.<<
Must be one of those new reality shows?
Great stuff....everyone should read again:
>>Despite what many critics claim, the level of our cultural achievements match any other country, though a shockingly small percentage take full advantage of that fact.
The U.S. has provided a level of participatory democracy that only a few other countries have attained, though once again it is disappointing that so few actually participate as they should.<<
Man, I wish there were no democrats! Then, we would have only one political party, and there wouldn't be so much arguing in congress. Yup, we all need to think alike. In fact, maybe the President should just make all of the decisions. He seems to be smarter than the average bear, just like Yogi. Hey, Boo-Boo, what do you think?
The roman empire was once great also and now it's just italy. Actually I'm not sure about the shareholders getting rich off of Stan and Iris's work, that's a speculation,>>
Did someone suggest that ECD will be the next roman empire? Thats great news. In that case I will add some shares on Monday opening.
>> How you can be so pessimistic regarding the greatest Country in the world while being equally optimistic about a company with a long trail of failing to deliver the goods to shareholders is beyond me.<<
The roman empire was once great also and now it's just italy. Actually I'm not sure about the shareholders getting rich off of Stan and Iris's work, that's a speculation, but the knowledge they have already added will save the world even if the rest of our management is totally incompetent!
Good luck with your trades also!
Thanks JJ. I appreciate your answer. I didnt ask the question to bash anyone who loves his country. People love their countries everywhere, and youll certainly find people in every country who believe that theirs is the best, the most beautiful and the women are the most charmful in the world.
I admire the US for a lot of reasons, although I didnt make it to visit it yet. What I always liked about America was the sense of Universalism, and the believe that all human beings are born equal. In recent years it appears to me that a lot of this tradition has been abandoned.
