    • >>The U.S. can afford to buy resouces. It doesn't need to steal them through military means.<<

      ROFL ROFL

I believe that the problem is that not everything in this world is for sale and sometime the owner even has different priorities from the party which needs the resource.

    • no, personally I dont like Wagner a lot, the music is too bombastic and the operas lack of action. everybody is standing around for hours and nothing happens. extremly boring. We have the great conductor here, Daniel Barenboim who made up a huge scandal, performing Wagner in Israel. He as a jew was arguing that a lot of composers from the 19 th century were anti-semites. That was a social pattern at that time. Nobody is complaining about Mussorgsky or others. But Wagner was abused by the Nazis. He was dead 50 years before Hitler came to power.
But who am I to defend Wagner in an ENER board without even like his music? LOL

    • >> May I remind you that there is no Nazi Party here, it was forbidden by the Authority in 45. So I cant be a member. <<

Yes. But do you feel guilty when you listen to Wagner ??

    • May I remind you that there is no Nazi Party here, it was forbidden by the Authority in 45. So I cant be a member.
Actually I might have been pro Iraq war, like I was in 1990 when Blair and Bush had managed that better. Every school kid could tell the lies that were given in the run up.

Btw Kuwait, did you ever ask what the Kuwaitis made of their "liberalisation" in respect of reforms, democratisation human rights?
Can you sacrifice soldiers life for another country that doesnt seem want to be liberalized? What about countries which vote in their first free elections for extremists, hardliners or religious cranks?

    • You mean you could invade us on the landway? via Asia? ..

I would be more concerned about China and the muslim invasion if I were you.

The U.S. can afford to buy resouces. It doesn't need to steal them through military means. If it did we would have invaded Saudi Arabia when they reneged on their oil well royalty promises and stole them from U.S. companies. Or we wouldn't have liberated the Kuwaiti's. I suppose you think we shouldn't have done that also. Instead the U.S. would have conquered the Kuwait and stole their oil.

I would really like to see the evidence of imperialism. We liberated the Phillipines from the Japanese in WWII. I suppose you think that was wrong too. We have liberated a lot of countries. You should be grateful for what we have done for your country but you seem to idolize the Hitler's of the world. Are you part of the Nazi party? Sure sounds like it to me.

    • You mean you could invade us on the landway? via Asia? This scares me to death. If we should ever find oil beneath our home soil, we will deadly keep our mouths shut about it.

    • but temperature is rising soon the permafrost will be gone and New York will look like Venice/Italy. >>

This is true. I suppose maybe you could say it has become an island with the melting of the northwest passage. I would have to look at the globe though.

    • No, it is not>

but temperature is rising soon the permafrost will be gone and New York will look like Venice/Italy.

    • Come here QED and do a hike and see if you dont get lost. >>

I have done hikes there. In the very place where he was lost.

Follow the water to the ocean and you will not get lost.

    • Actually America is an island too.>>

      No, it is not.
