Honda new concept fc car-hydride tank?

Honda unveiled their next generation FCX fuel cell concept car, along with a home hydrogen generation filling station, at the Tokyo Motor Show this week. The car has a range of 350 miles (560 kms) using two separate 350 psi hydrogen storage tanks. The tanks use a newly-developed hydrogen absorption material that doubles their capacity without raising the required storage pressure and thus allows the concept vehicle to exceed the DOE's targeted driving range for hydrogen powered vehicles. The home refueling station uses natural gas to produce electricity, heat and hydrogen. Honda estimates that the HES system [will] lower by 50% the total running cost of household electricity, gas and vehicle fuel. As the FCX is a concept car, no mention of when the technology might be introduced in a real automobile or what it will eventually cost, but the advances demonstrated by the car are quite amazing."

    • It's hard to feel sorry for someone who grumbles about taxes on capital gains.>>

I don't believe I was asking for any sympathy.

Also, consider Oliver Wendell Holmes' remark that "taxes are the price of civilization". >

I agree. But most countries don't charge taxes on capital gains.

A consumption tax would be more fair IMO. It would make us "greedy" Americans consume less. LOL.

    • It's hard to feel sorry for someone who grumbles about taxes on capital gains.

My father who was often out of work during the Depression but who made a good income after World War II used to say that paying taxes on income was a nice problem to have.

Also, consider Oliver Wendell Holmes' remark that "taxes are the price of civilization".

    • This company has had some success in producing NG from manure.

It's actually very interesting, Intellergy is the name I believe. Destroys all the toxics out of dairy waste, creates hydrogen, oxygen and Class 1 material for resale!>>(ecd anon)

Check out EPG. Go to the investor slide presentation on their website. They even show the point in the process that the odor is taken out.

    • When I lived on Beacon Hill, in Boston, there were no "Pooper Scoopers", and sometimes the the piles of dog shit were so big that if you tripped on one you wouldn't clear the pile.

That inspired my invention of a new breed of dog with no alimentary canal.

It smelled like shit but it didn't poop.

If you could afford the deodorant you could love the dog.

    • Actually that reminds me.

I crossed a onions with a jack asses. Most of the time I get an onion with hair on it, some times I got a jack ass that smelled real bad, but every once in a while I got a piece of ass that made your eyes water!

Now if we could get it to run off of Yahoo! THEY could become an AE company too!

    • QED gets angry when he muffed his chance at selling at high levels. >>

I get frustrated. There is a big difference between frustration and anger. I was waiting for $49 and it didn't get there. I'm not exactly sure I would have sold anyway. I have to take taxes into consideration. It sure would be nice to get a long term capital gain just once. I have never had one before due to the high activity of my trading. If I were in a country where you didn't get nailed everytime you take a capital gain I probably would have taken a little off the table.

Hopefully President Bush will be able to fix this problem.

    • Oh gleeful bearer of bad news. Your such a phony.<<<<

QED gets angry when he muffed his chance at selling at high levels. Soon if this stock does not level off he will use profanity as perviously when this stock sucked big time.
