    From S@P report

We see revenues more than doubling in FY 08
(Jun.), reflecting a transition from a focus on
R&D to product sales. We expect ENER to increase
its solar capacity five-fold by 2010, from
    a recent 58MW (megawatts) to 300MW.We are
projecting more modest growth from the battery
and computer memory businesses. In April
2007, ENER announced a restructuring program
expected to reduce annual costs by $23 million
by the end of FY 08.
We see gross margins widening in FY 08, reflecting
a more favorable sales mix and
economies of scale. We forecast costs of $2.5
million in FY 08 related to ENER's restructuring
plan. In addition, we project higher costs related
to the construction of the Greenville facilities
and a production ramp in Tijuana. ENER
    does not pay corporate taxes.

    • 'Why would you believe an analyst when the CEO knows better? "
Because the job of one depends on how accurate he is and the job of the other depends on how much B.S. he can feed the public and get away with it. <<

Infared: tell us the ballad of Henry Bloggett at Merrill Lynch. Many of the anal ist print what they are told or what they are paid to print. The CEO pay package is dependent upon at stock price North of 50$ per share and BSing is not going to get the stock price there. It will come from good management and follow through on what they have already announced.

S&P REITERATES HOLD OPINION ON SHARES OF ENERGY CONVERSION DEVICES
We expect margins to be pressured by lower average selling prices and restructuring costs. We are lowering our EPS forecast for FY 08 (Jun) to $0.05 from $0.20, and initiate our FY 09 EPS estimate of $1.01

However, we are still concerned about ENER's operating and net losses and potential new capital requirements.
