HP acquired PALM. SAP acquired Sybase,.. The list goes on. SPWRA is ripe to be acquired. It's trading below book. They have a full pipeline of biz. A French nuclear co. acquired a U.S. solar co recently. I view SPWRA's technology as national security for it has the highest conversion efficiency in the mkt and the world wouldn't want to be held hostage by the Middle East. The eco disaster in the Gulf is a wake-up call for the energy bill.
Sorry to disagree but this stock has a current value of $14.12 a share, and we are really a long, long way, from your wishful/hopeful $80.00!
We are $65.88 away to be exact which is almost a 6 bagger away.
I am also long this stock, and all the pumping, hoping, and wishing will not make it so.
It takes strong management, a great business plans and laser like execution coupled with the delivery of strong earnings and revenue now, not a miss this quarter, and some promised great results 2-3 quarters from now.
Unfortunately for the shareholders, SPWRA has none of the above currently going for it.
A buy out is probably the only way this stock price will show some significant appreciation with the current crew of inept leadership, and with a buyout someone else would be able to finally extract maximum value from this company.
