I don't I own 1900 shares outright, plus I control 6200 more with 62 May 16 call options that I bought a week or so ago at .62, a little less than $4000 investment, gamble really. I was hoping the stock would rise into earnings as it has for the last several quarters. Plus I used several technical indicators. I figured $17.00 by next week would be worth $1.30 or so. this would be a clean double plus a few extra bucks. I figured if FSLR and other solars came out with some good numbers I might even get to $18.00 which would probably put my option at $2.25, a triple, not bad. Little did I guess a buyout was in the works. It is an options players dream.
BTW I have been in the market since 1983, and in more than one year I have booked more money in capital gains than I have made in salary. One tear several times more. Almost all of that money is reinvested, Only rarely have I taken money out to spend. So it is not hard to imagine that over nearly thirty years I have built up a sizable portfolio.
BTW I post all my trades, in solar at least, on this board, when I make them, as any board regular can attest. They will tell you I have not always been right, in fact I bat just a little over .500. It is when you get a hit like this that it makes it all worth it.
SBTW If you do not understand how options work I will be glad to explain it, but you should do your own DD.
