    • Well Priceline was $7.13 in march of 2003 in April 2012 it was $726.13
Apple was $7.07 in March of 2003 and in Sep 2012 it was $762.13
I had LPSN @ 0.11 a share , sold it at .92 so as not to be a pig and the last I looked it was over $6.00 !
Same thing could happen to LeapFrog you never know but all three stocks I listed where down for many months before they took off and if you where day trading them chances are you lost some gains. LF is not a good stock to day trade, its not that type of stock.

    • Can you imagine what earnings would be like if they could successfully apply this formula to additional countries?? I've put way more into this than I should have but to me the risk is well worth the potential reward. I don't want to be kicking myself in 5 years for getting out during all of the turbulence!

This is why I think the new hires and new products aren't likely to be a short term drain. Their current products are hot and there's a lot of low hanging fruit internationally which they are in fact exploiting. Sales from this allow consistent revenue even as they start to saturate the US market, keeping earnings reports good while the innovate until the cycle begins again with a new product. They need to spend a lot to fuel growth, but that is healthy because if they don't spend then they stagnate and get outcompeted. Regarding short term risk - besides LF being undervalued, insiders bought in as high as $8.20 and have not sold, so I would expect a lot of resistance around that level, and plenty of attention from management regarding the undervalued share price around that level.

        Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • Groundzero - Your are right - it COULD be huge - and for those who are true investors and not two-bit Foghorn Leghorn style daytraders - that will likely come to pass. LF is a solid company with a strong future, and it's shares are IMO very undervalued.

It wouldn't surprise me to see these shares north of $15 by year's end or sooner if they're bought out.

      Cheers!
      Joe
