    • They are clearly growing fast. I looked at both my local Walmart and Target. LeapFrog is now expanding in shelf space. In Target, LeapFrog had near a half a row of products.

Mattel and Hasbro has legit competition. You can tell that we are seeing a slight trend to educational toys. Items like Barbie and Hot Wheels have declining sales.

My how times have changed ! We took our wheeled cars and bikes and put motors on them ! We took skids in the back of the supermarkets and made go-carts. We cut 2x4's and nailed half a roller skate to the front and half to the rear, inventing skatebroads. I cut up a VW frame and made my first car. I was in the USAF 5 days after I turned 17 and on my own ever since. We walked to school if you lived within 2 miles. We got a row of cars parked at the bottom of the street to pick up their kids from the bus and drive them home 2 houses away.
The kids are too soft today. They even have a parking lot for High School students ! (With NEW CARS YET) !

Sorry got a little carried away. Then again let them use a "POST" Slide Rule and learn their powers of ten !
