The Milken family controls 42.7% of the voting shares. A buyout, if any, would need to be acceptable to them.
It's unlikely that there will be a buyout any time soon since that family held their shares when it fell from the $47.30 high in 2003. They stuck through years of losses. I don't think they'll give away the goose now that it's laying eggs again. Even when Ellison bailed, they stuck it out.

I think if that is going to happen it will be a hostile takeover that mgmt will fight it all the way and they do own a lot of stock and money to fight with. I think most current share holders would take $15 pps with what we have been thur, unless mgmt drives the price up by using that cash to benefit the shareholders.
