Certainly not me. I set an alert for IOC for when it hits $55, then I checked for any SIGNIFICANT news and saw none, watched it closely, bought and figured once the selling volume subsided the price would recover. I originally owned the stock a few days ago and sold at $59.75. These events occur occasionally. I don't pay attention to news articles that don't appear in my broker account's news section or Yahoo summary for the stock. If a few large players heard of some rumor and sold, well, it's their loss and my gain. Material information must be released by the company through formal channels. Hearsay and rumors are things I don't figure in and just ignore them. Too many people get burned by trading on articles that aren't pressworthy.
