InterOil Corporation Message Board

    Enough vindictiveness, ok?

This board is not the easiest to read in the best of times, but since I have the bashers on ignore, it is bearable. All this negative r"ubbing it in" stuff is dominating the messages I do NOT have on ignore. It is times like this that make me want to camp out on SU and just not read here, but in this case it is the longs who are creating a negative environment here. We ALL went through tough times, and for a change we are above where I bought most of my shares 3 years ago. Last thing I feel like reading right now is hateful sentiments. Celebrate, gang! If you want to express your emotions, compliment the posters who helped get you through the tough times. Our time has come to be happy, not hateful.

    • Yeah you are right.....fool. With puppy fister and shorts saying they were so happy that Binck passed and that he deserved to die. They deserve all the pain that can be dished out IMO. They are slimey creeps. You my friend are a people pleasing sap.

      • Not sure who would post that they hoped someone would die, but yes, they deserved your scorn WHEN IT HAPPENED. They must have been on my ignore list. But to paint anyone else with that picture is a bit absurd also. It reminds me of stereotypes that assume that because there are bad people on another side of a conflict, all of them are bad people. It's a prime contributor to cruelty in war. Kind of the same kind of sentiment that help William William Calley's crew to do what they did at My Lai in Vietnam on Mar. 26th, 1968. I was a combat soldier in Vietnam at the time and remember feeling that hell, had indeed, visited earth. I am proud to say that many of my comrades in arms had great respect for our enemy. I received a purple heart (oak leaf cluster) for multiple, though minor injuries in that conflict, but saw enough hate in the year I was there to last me a lifetime.
Don't perpetuate hate, no matter what an individual on the other side of the IOC bet has said. And no, I am not saying that I have any respect for people that say such hurtful things after a family endured the terrible loss of a loved one, but I suspect this was just one person, and besides, that is not a justification for hatefulness to dominate the board now when we should all be celebrating.

      • I'm with lotsof on this!

    • I agree.

I also don't really care that much about the stock price right now. Until a deal is announced, this is just speculative buying very similar to the last run up to 99 and we all know how that ended.

I expect a deal. I expect a good deal that will reward long term shareholders for their patience as we have been promised.

We are facing a very binary event in March and the announcement by IOC has made it so. This timeline was set by them.

While I am optimistic, I will save the celebration for after the announcement.

      Regards,

      Raiseyou
