Just shows that when Chandler stops buying the shorts will regain control. This stock has been a "buying opportunity" (or covering opportunity) dream for those who are not already maxed out on IOC stock. Which is probably about 5% of us.
If it goes down on high volume it's good news because "someone sure is accumulating - look at that volume". If it goes down on low volume it's good news because "nobody is selling heavy and once the buyers step in it will rocket".
Or if it goes down on low volume it's bad news because "no buyers are stepping in to defend it" Or if it goes down on high volume it's bad news because "some one is dumping".
The reality is if you are long or short IOC and can't withstand outrageous amounts of intra-day and inter-day volatility you likely going to get taken out.
Um - no it doesn't. It could and I certainly hope it does. I would also agree that it's easier and more likely to get the PPS back up with such little volume. You definitely can't just make a blanket statement like that, though.
