    When men were men

I can still remember that time. But the constant complaining here just makes me ill. I see so many "longs" recently, complaining about this and that, about the fact that IOC and their BOD hasn't gotten the deal done yet. Look at the facts "men." Exxon and IOC are in exclusive negotiations. IOC has a resource that resulted in multiple bids from majors INCLUDING Exxon, the biggest and baddest of the bunch. And who won? yes, Exxon. All of you supposed longs who continue to run to Bonk, Erich and Valuesleuth for supposed "answers" and comfort because they are so willing to accept your "feelings" might want to consider just growing a pair and becoming men. yes I said it. You sound like a bunch of weak minded women whining and complaining about this and that and the other. So if you are so upset, sell. I will reiterate that point. yes sell the stock. Move on and live your life. Do you think the BOD is reading yahoo posts? No. If you want to complain, call the company and register the fact that you are upset. That likely won't get you anywhere either. So you have 2 choices as I see it. Sell, or Hold. And I would like to add a third option. If you hold, suck it up and quit complaining, because your Father's and Grandfathers would be ashamed that you made an investment and turn into a little girl who can't handle the wait or the ups and downs you should be used to by now. I will hold, I won't complain and I will be a GD man about it. I welcome anyone with a backbone who is willing to act like a man to do the same. I'm sick of this becoming a complaint board because you can't handle volatility. Buy Apple if you don;t want that. Whoops, I guess that idea, like any other in the stock market not bulletproof either. Grow a set "men."

    Good luck real longs
