Rice is at live long highs. What's DBA's reasoning?
Rice is thinly traded. There may not be enough product for a large buyer to trade without unduly distorting the market. Much noise is starting about how futile ethanol production is. If ethanol sinks will this affect the rest of DBA's holdings?
Check out the Yahoo! Fund Summary under Profile and you will see DBA tracks the Deutsche Bank "Liquid Commodity Index - Optimum Yield Agriculture Excess Return." The index only includes corn, wheat, soy beans and sugar.
