    Meanwhile, Alan Abelson's Oct 19th Column, "Up and Down Wall Street" highlights a recommendation by a Societe Generale analyst to buy grains because warehouse stocks are at 60-year lows.

    • Look how fertilizer sales/prices have been in 2009. look how the big fert companies like agu, pot have done in 2009. Sales of fertillizer are way down along with ag commodity prices. With out considering weather the lack of fertillizer use should start to lower yields in 2010. I think the correction is all but over and might commodity prices likely rise in 2010. longer term no doubt higher prices are coming, not just based on inflation but population growth. jmho
