Nothing to cause this, other than the rise in price. The last times it was in this range the company did 3:2 stock splits, in 2002 and 2005. Same company now (after regaining its growth from that customer departure years ago). Same management. So why did they do the stock split before? Will it happen again? Just curious... It is a good company, with a plausible future and good value.
Gee Whiz, still don't know why this happens, but it did again:
10:53AM Cantel Medical announcesd 3-for-2 stock split (CMN) 30.18 +0.01 : Co announced that its Board of Directors has declared a 3-for-2 stock split to be effected as a stock dividend of three shares for each two shares issued and outstanding, payable Wednesday, February 1, 2012 to the holders of record of Cantel's common stock as of the close of business on Monday, January 23, 2012.
Maybe we should all be a bit more interested in this stock again...
