Well, the quarterly dividend was cut from $0.15 to $0.10, but the stock is up today, so I guess people were assuming worse. The board must have the Q3 results in hand before approving the dividend, so Q3 must have been OK. Most of the Q3 cat's were in areas outside NSEC's primary customer base.
It has been a horrible year weather wise for NSEC and all the P&C companies.
All-State out saying getting good reception to raising their homeowner rates and not losing a lot of business as being done across the industry. Should help NSEC as well.
