Have they un-frozen all the employee shares in ESPP and 401-K's yet? If not, you wouldn't want any more of them any way.
From what I've heard everything has been unfrozen and they are free to sell their existing ESPP shares. But, since it's been so long since they were able to participate, many would be at a loss form their purchase price...even with the 15% discount. 401k's, I'm not sure about. But, I would suspect they are free to roll over if they'd like to.
