they suck.i will never buy another one.my hp is much better than my dell.on top of that their stock sucks too.after they barely meet earnings expections and have a lame forcast. this pos will go to 11 bones.
Say what you want, but the new XPS 15z looks sweet!
I've had an Inspiron 700M single core with a 12" screen, and
it's never failed me. I need to upgrade to a fast unit, and a
tablet doesn't fit my needs. I'm staying with Dell.
Received a new desktop XPS 8300 with a set up for dual screen. The set up guide doesn’t match the computer. The monitor cable is incorrect for dual screen. Talked to my salesman, have to go India. No help from India. Can you believe this?
The keyboard they sent, no light for Cap Locks. Good luck on keying in passwords. The keys are so close together very easy to hit two keys at the same time, adds hours to your work correcting key errors.
Last Dell for me.
It's a good thing we all don't share that opinion I guess. I am certainly no judge, however I have used a Dell desktop for 2 years with no problems at all. (My son ordered it for me) I formerly had an HP. Could it be all the bashers are short on this stock? Hmmmm. It gives the message board less value.
I just had a customer's computer crash and die a horrible death and GUESS WHAT???
HP! NOT A DELL.
I have customers full of Dell stations and servers and so far everything is running like a top.
Definate Basher here. Please poist the ID tag of your failed Dell.
I just picked up a 14 inch Vostro 1014 with Ubuntu Linux for $329. It's a full size laptop for te price of a netbook. Nice computer, but it only came with 1gb of RAM and a single core Celeron processor. I upgraded it to 3gb of RAM and swapped the HDD for an SSD. Nice budget system and I can easily do my own upgrades. This computer should last me years. Nothing crappy about it at all.
they had to change the the motherboard twice on my last dell.and i guarantee that will be my LAST dell computer.everyone knows they just plain make crapp.we use them at work and have numerous problems all the time and a co-woker of mine bought one last year even though we all told him not to.then as expected it has all sorts of problems and he could never get it fixed.they ended up taking the pos back and he got an hp.
You're 100% right about that. Dell makes garbage computers, builds them with used parts and sells them as new.
My brother worked for DHL and he told me they delivered thousands of computers every week, and about 20% of them were returned within a few days for not working.
Dell used to make great computers and stand behind them. The newest one I have is a piece of junk. Had to replace almost everything but the case. Another thing, it seems like they are selling their service contracts so you really are no longer dealing with the company after the purchase. Very sad
