Icahn or Cramer, hmmmmmm...... I think I'll pick Icahn

Cramer made all his money front running analyst recommendations and spreading rumors. The vast majority of Cramers trades were intraday. You don't believe it? Go read the book 'Trading with the Enemy' by Nicholas Maier. Mr. Maier worked for Cramer at his hedge fund.

How about Mr. Icahn, He buys stocks that are selling cheap and works with management to create value OVER TIME......

Oh yeah, Cramar is worth about $300MM, Icahn is worth about $8 BILLION!

I think I'll stick with Icahn.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

You are dead on with this post. Read the book too. I'm 100% sure he is on the other side of this trade. That's what Cramer means by doing your homework (get a tv show and manipulate stocks). ha

    • Actually Icahn is worth about 19 Bilion :)
And yeah, Cramer's record sucks.....I only hope he is as wrong with this one as he was with Bear Stearns
IMHO there was no need for Faber to come out and spell doom for Dell unless he is trying to panic other prospective bidders

If he really wanted to sell the company at the best price------ He would have shut up and just let other people look at Dell's financials and let them make a better offer if they want

If he thought that his price was really the best price ------ Faber would have shut up because people looking Dell's figures would know that he was telling the truth all along

If he thought that his price is a real steal ---------- He would come out and try to paint a bad pciture to dissuade others from even consider buying DELL

Anyhow this is what I think....let's see what happens next week

      Sentiment: Buy
