They dont care about the company. They want to destroy Dell, harvest an extra $1 off the corpse. Nobody will go for it. The committee did not even deem Icahn's offer to even be valid as a buyout offer.
I agree. Mr Dell basically wants to buy the company at a 30% discount and rework his magic and transform the company into a big money maker. In three years he will than bring the company public and sell the shares for 22-25 dollars per share. Mr Dell will walk away with billions. Call his bluff and force him to bow out or up the ante.
Only Analysts say MD is winning, as they lie usually. I saw one analyst saying about a telecom stock" This stock will go through roof" After few weeks stock went through floor! These analysts are paid by companies to fool investors.
