I am assuming Dell is requiring the special committee to decide by 6:00 pm today if they agree to change the counting of non-votes in ex-change for an extra 0.10. This does not seem like much time given the meeting has been moved forward over a week . What is the rush? (the committee should ask) Dell/SIlver Lake seems sure the committee will agree to the change. An agreement today would foil a contermeasure by Icahn over the weekend, If Dell/Silver Lake is not sure of the committee they risk alienating the committee with there insistence on a rapid response.
The Committee knows what the rush is....Michael Dell is asking....are you with me, or against me? I want to know RIGHT NOW! If the committee doesn't change the rules, he needs to get off his butt and do some work.
