How did this board become ?

How did this board become a place for attacking choices to be made by women ?

    Is this proper ?

<<The first was "Diversification is the
road to mediocrity". The second was "Put all your eggs
in one basket and watch it like a
      hawk".>>

Mr. Buffett has also been similarly quoted, and he
hasn't done too badly, either :)

      Disclaimer: I've
got about 20% of all my investment dollars in FCEL,
      and about 10% in BRKB.

    • You posted, "Thanks for the hand holding - it
seems we own a lot of the same stuff...". Well, that's
not surprising because there are only a handfull of
FC stocks! That is why I continue to be so high on
the sector. Once the masses want to have a piece of
the fuel cell sector, who are they going to buy???

    • I forgot IMCO. I also own IMCO. It seems to have perked up considerably last week, by the way.

      Good luck, bairde...

    • am specifically asking some of the longer term
members of this board what they think of the recent stock
runup and if they're sellers at this point. Of course,
we all must make our own decisions, but am curious
how you folks read the stock right now. Thanks.

      • Sunfund continues to hold the shares which have
become an outsized portion of the portfolio. Can't think
of a better investment. Although the size of the
holding make me a bit nervous, so does the thought of not
        maintainting it.

        Even though I wasn't specifically
addressed, I hope you won't mind if I throw in my 2 cents
        anyway.

I think the analogies to Cisco hit the nail right
on the head. If I've done my calcs right, FCEL is
now at a market cap similar to Cisco's in early 1991.

I'm not saying that FCEL will show the same returns
over the next 10 years as Cisco did over the last 10,
but I certainly wouldn't rule it out. It HAS already
done something I couldn't find in the Cisco price
history, and that's roughly a 25-fold increase over an
18-month time period, which could mean a rather
significant pull-back might be within reason to
        expect.

For me, I'm NOT selling the shares I have, not for
several years. If there's a near-term drop back to the
70-80 level, I'll be buying more.

        If, as I
expect, it continues up over the next few years, I'll
continue to add as funds become available.

        Warren
Buffett once said something to the effect that you only
have to make a half-dozen or so really good decisions
in investing to be extremely successful. I'm betting
on FCEL being one of mine, and I'll be damned if I
let some potential drop in share price spook MY ass
out of this stock. How many people sold Cisco way
back when, only to kick themselves every year
        since?

Last thing - My calculations say that if FCEL reaches
Cisco's current market cap, our shares would be worth
just under $62,500 each, or a little more than the
current price of a Class A share of Warren Buffett's
Berkshire Hathaway (another bunch of investor's that kick
themselves are the ones that sold BRKA for $40 back in the
        70's!).

    • you is this...is murder proper? You say choice, I say murder.

    • Look folks, allow me say this; woman has raised
the human race since she first let that little one
fly! IT's taken woman and men millions of years to
reach this point and all along there's been
infanticide. From the squirrell, to the fox, from the lion to
the man, from he to she, we've done what nature says
that we can. So whether it's God, or wind, or a
lightning strike, a crash, a stabbing, or fire, there is
one thing I know for sure; of murder we will never
      tire.

    • Since when is it anyones right to kill another inocent human?
