Ive' been looking at ABAT. A China battery co w/ loads of cash, low debt, great margins, seemingly good products, pursuing nitch markets , acquiring complementary businesses .... Looks like it is under the radar for the quality and under priced. The stock price just doesn't move much since 2009.
Why is ABAT such a dog? Am I missing something or could it be a hidden gem?
Not to have moved much given the "attacks" on China reverse mergers is something of an accomplishment. It's one of the few China Battery (and significant Lithium "exposure") stories that John Peterson likes on Seeking Alpha. They seem to buy other companies from time to time which I believe worries people w.r.t transparency. I have a small position.
