    • nwestor, I know I won the bet, but you can keep your 10 grand, because I really don't need your money, nor do I have any wishes to take your money. so you keep the 10 grand or just give it away to charity if you insist on giving it away.

    • You were right Doc. I did switch to EDZ later in the day.

    • I always enjoy reading your fantasy trades hours after they happen Bruce.

I bailed on EDC and made money. Switched to EDZ and made money.

      Good day.

I have to say we never had a bet. I offered and you disappeared. You offered something new and I never agreed. But thanks for letting me keep my money. LOL

    • who caught that power bear move at the end during the last hour of trading?

I jumped in at approximately 3pm and caught that last 1 hour, and my short the market signal happened so darn fast in such a fast moving market since it was highly leveraged PUT contracts on the S&P index, that I had absolutely no time at all to post my entry.

I made a real killing getting in on the 111 strike price on the SPY index at 3.65, with 1000 put contracts. the price is now at 5.30/share as I am typing this message. so I gained 1.65/share gain on 1000 contracts, the same as 100,000 shares... that's $165,000 I made within the last 60 minutes alone.

inwestor, I know I won the bet, but you can keep your 10 grand, because I really don't need your money, nor do I have any wished to take your money. so you keep the 10 grand or just give it away to charity if you insist on giving it away.

    • Inwestor . . . I managed to make over eight grande on a stock that really never moved from open to close. If you stayed in EDC, you lost all your profit and then some. I took my wager off the table and spent my day at a long kunch with friends at a nice restaraunt.

I still believe short day trades are the key right now . . . and honestly, am reconsidering a 1040 bounce. I just see the McClellan Oscillator bottomed out which leads me to believe there is more upside potential than downside potential . . . but I'm not seeing the market move. McClellan Oscillators are known for being a day or few early. If you'll remember, I got in EDZ on April 9th, by these technicals, and the ultimate entry was April 14th. I was a few days early.

I think the US Dollar may be topping here. IF it does, our markets will go up without further bad news.

These are challenging trading days. ANY trader making money should be proud. I am happy with my day . . . and that is the important thing. I sure never saw a drop coming like happened this afternoon. Sorry I missed that opportunity . . . but altogether another good day trading.

Congratulations to EDZ players who held . . . and ONCE AGAIN made money!

    • At least no one called anyone else a moron or idiot today. I'd say we are moving in the right direction.

    • The way I see it, no wager was ever made. Inwestor offered, Bruce didn't reply. Then after a huge dip Bruce offered a new bet under different terms that was never accepted.

No bet was ever made at all. Bruce - you just should have said OK, I agree.

      Maybe next time.

    • That dollar made me do it.....:)

    • so far, I honestly have to say inwestor is only wagering 10 grand. he never did commit to the 20 grand. or atleast not yet, I guess to buy him time to see if he has a shot to pull if off or not, and walk away with 20 grand instead of just 10 grand...

    • I'll be the WITTINESS of this friendly wager. So, is INWESTOR in for that total of $20k bet??? Yes or NO?
