If you cut right through the BS, the fact is, in most parts of the country, the assets on bank's balance sheets have been cut by 50%. That makes most of them fundamentally bankrupt. Our country is bankrupt. The issue now is keeping the "faith" and "trust" of the system intact so the games can continue. That is all that is going on now. They hope to create inflation to get asset prices back up.
