So put out a press release and tell us exactly what has happened. I would rather read what Labcorp has to say than brokers' interpretations. How many sales people have departed and do they all have non competes?
In fact, the sales force has grown over the past year. I know several (~12) Dianon sales reps did not sign non-competes and were let go within the past month. However, this is too be expected any time a acquisition like this happens. LabCorp is actively still seeking sales people and Dianon was a strong acquisition for the company. I expect what has happened is that many Dianon reps are ticked about the situation and their production has diminished. Once this acquisition gets thru its early stages, it will be business as usual. No one in the laboratory business can compete with LabCorp and Quest Diagnostics. Just the facts man :-) I'm pumping everything I can into the ESPP and I will continue until I need to pull it out, which will probably be in about a year. I have no inside info really, just speaking of what I see in my marketplace and, being an employee, what I expect in the future.
