After being an NE long for 3+++ years, wishing/hoping/praying for the stock pps/dividend to perform, I gave up this week. Disappointment after disappointment. I sold all my NE shares on Monday, and reinvested the proceeds into RIG. RIG just reinstated it's $2.40 annual dividend and Carl Icahn is pushing for a $4 dividend.
During the course of my investment with NE, I learned to fear the quarterly reports and to expect the worst. The only people getting rich off NE are it's management and it's union workers. I wish the best to all current NE shareholders, but it became too much for me to be an owner in this company. Disappointment.
Is it just my imagination, or is it every time someone gets fed up with this stock and bails, it rallies. All the hard work by Pismire gets counterbalanced by karma. Crazy. I guess we should buy on the weakness of the posters here. It would probably be as good a strategy as reading the analyst's reports.
