We wish to see more insider buying

I am pretty sure investors who recently bought shares at $5.05 are not happy with the stock price performance. Top management bought only 17K shares at low $3 level-the action is rather a symbolic move than a strong show of confidence of its business growth.

And there is even an insider sell at $3.22-was this guy out of his mind???-I had rarely seen management folks in public companies acted in discord at that juncture.

We definitely need to see substantial insider buying to clear the doubt of investors!

    • Most people don't just have $100's of thousnads just sitting around for buying ino their company stock. Any time you see insider buys, its a positive sign.

    • You must be joking. Do you know insiders have 33 percent ownership of this stock? Any more and it would be a buyout taking the company private. Which is not beyond the realm of possibility. What on EARTH would make you make a statement like you would like to see more insider buying when they already own ONE THIRD of the whole damn company? Just saying. Research it before you write it down.

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • Either that or more institutional buying. I have a few theories as to why the VP of Quality Control sold. First he may have gotten scared with the price and sold off. Second he may have been at odds with other management and sold off. Third, there may be something he knows that we don't and he wants out before then. Foruth, he may have just needed the money, but then why would he sell off his entire stake in HPJ. So I think the most likely cases are one and two. If it were three then other management would have also sold off.

      • Therories, opinions and conjecture are fine but with out actual proof they are just that. How about just needed the cash to buy a condo. Yes the co doesn't own 33% because they don't believe in their own co, that doesn't wash. While we wait for the breakout it is undersatndable to go through this opinion process. It is all a short selllesr game.

When they have all they can have and have reduced as much of the retail as possible they will let it go. They are preparing for good co news. The smart ones are buying the dip and holding, some are playing and trading the dip and ride those gains to free trading shares. I agree that the 5.02 tgt is the break out number on good to strong volume. 50% or better are inter mkt swaping and or phantom trades. The low volume shown is a good thing in these ranges of the lows. To fill buy orders the shorts have to sell short, no one really is selling. That is all there is to it.

The demand and high volume to the ask is what will move this big on very good co news. We have had good news already with SNE. It wouldn't take much as the mkt is turning and the mkt boys are pushing for a good mkt move just before June 21st summer. It is all good.
