What makes me most confident about HPJ is their ability to seek out and secure international deals, like Timex, Sony, COSCO... more to follow, I'm sure. They are a Chinese company with global brand name recognition. Rare, but solid.
Exactamundo, competitive market where HPJ is securing higher margin contracts overseas. HPJ most likely just testing the waters with Costco, but bodes well for their adoption going forward. Andalay solar leaves much to be desired, but I also expect HPJ will sell into a real solar co soon. So many irons in the fire to speak of ... Timex (huge) and Chinese EV market alone is reason enough for HPJ to be trading at $10.
KNDI... but I personally don't want to go there due to the way they are structuring their accounting (selling to one of their own subsidiaries or some such shady mechanism). I don't trust their QE reports as a result. BUT... it could be a big hit and I'm just being too cautious.
