I am wondering why MMR is worth investing at the current price. The dividend of $3.00 per year per share would equate to a very good 9.78% return. However, there are tax consequences when you sell that will reduce the percentage over time.
Do you think that the recent acquisitions could add to the dividend?
The recent drop in the market showed MMLP would follow the downward trend. Some think we are headed for more volitality in the days ahead.
My stop was set at $29.00 to lock in some nice profit from appreciation but I do miss the quarterly income. I am thinking I will stay on the sideline unless there is a clear indication the dividend will be raised due to the recent acquisitions. Would you mind sharing your thoughts on this subject? Thanks in advance
Sounds like you like to trade. Most mlp unit holders buy and hold. MMLP is very thinly traded. Why don't you check out CHK if you want to trade the energy sector. PLenty of volatility... a traders blessing and nightmare if you have the stomach for it.
