Early Friday, Reuters reported that Royal Dutch Shell's oil output in Nigeria rose to one million barrels per day over the last few weeks. Shell's figure defies the country's pledge to reduce production. Nigeria's total output is above the 1.89 million barrels per day quota by 250,000 barrels. Nigeria had agreed to make cutbacks under the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries' plan to reduce world supplies, which began at the beginning of April.
After 40 years sucking on the cigs, I decided last May 11 to give the damned things up, bought the patch and wrung my hands, was very nasty at times with my lovely wife, kicked the shit out of my favorite bird dog, increased my vodka intake, and after about three weeks jumped in the car and headed for the gas station to buy some smokes. I got half way there and knew that if I smoked ONE I would be hooked again. I instead bought a package of Red Man and have been having a chew in the evenings after dinner. ( but only one per day) It has honestly delivered me from the cigarettes......... Now in the evenings I can sit on the porch, chew, spit, cuss, and enjoy my own observations on various subjects.
