    ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Design, prepare, and facilitate Oncology product launch training and new hire training curricula.
    Manages the development of sales training programs and curricula such as classes, workshops, learning modules, e-tools, and other job aids and materials for distribution to the field sales organization, including routing all materials through the PSMR process.
    Translates business needs into sales training programs and curricula. Consistently enhances and updates the current training programs.
    Implements metrics to measure impact, effectiveness, appropriateness, and utility of training programs.
    Facilitates training programs – highly skilled at group facilitation and group learning exercises.
    Manages home-study efforts of new hires and associated Area Field Trainers to ensure new-hire preparedness for training assessments of promoted brands.
    Work as liaison with internal and external customers to identify training and propose/develop training solutions. Often initiates collaboration within internal and external customers to ensure consistency, avoid redundancy and thereby enhance training programs.
    Managing vendor relationship and associated training projects.
    Responsible for managing contracting and SAP requisition process to include associated monthly budget.
    Create and maintain SOP’s for sales training processes, projects and programs.
    Conduct regular field visits to ensure accuracy and relevance of training efforts.
    Developing personal technical and business knowledge of respective product, disease state and marketplace to become ‘resident subject matter expert’ for organization, r/t promoted brands.
    Effectively manage the navigation of multiple training pieces through the PSMR/JRC process.
    Exemplify the EMD Serono values in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
    Models compliance through all activities and interactions.




    Qualifications

    EDUCATION LEVEL AND LANGUAGES REQUIRED:
    Bachelor’s degree required. Masters degree preferred.
    PROFESSIONAL SKILLS, QUALIFICATONS AND EXPERIENCE
    Relevant work experience would a combination of: proven track record of sales / sales management results in Oncology marketplace, demonstrated success in development / facilitation of Oncology sales training classes, and expertise in adult learning curriculum design
    Training experience: minimum 2 years
    Sales experience: minimum 3-5 years required
    Experience in developing and executing training curricula for product launch
    Requires significant experience in both project and vendor management
    Demonstrates strong presentation and facilitation skills
    Requires computer expertise in MS Office, Lotus Notes & business writing skills
    This position is based out of the EMD Serono Home office in Rockland, MA
    Ability to travel for facilitating training programs and Field Rides
