Well actually, the merger has an Achilles body, but the employee support number doesn't seem to have been arrived at in a statistically defendable manner.Has anyone heard of any poll being taken? It must be important or it wouldn't be in the S-4 filing.Isn't it a violation of securities law to make false statements in connection with the offering of securites? David W. Packard has brought this up and I feel that this will be the fatal blow to the merger. If a fair and accurate poll is taken, from what I've seen in the office, the number will be less than 65% support. That will become the news and Carly's credibility will be focussed on. Not good.
