    Certainly they should have pushed the benefits of the US Constitution - one that allowed barely 1/4 of the citizens the right to vote. A Constitution that did not defend equal treatment under the law for all, but instead allowed the institution of slavery and required that women, blacks, and Indians not have the same right as white men with property. A constitution that still treats people differently based on their race, sex, and nationality.

    Certainly sell the 200 year old patched and amended US constitution, rather than a more modern one that is based on equality for all, equal treatment under the law, and equal rights to vote for everyone.
