    Be careful on Halloween

You don't want to step in a lying sack of Mitt.

    • skinner,

That is politics, i.e. telling part truths, flip flopping in accordance with poll results and sketch etch frequently:

He was and still is for a proposal "to raise the ceiling" on visas for holders of advanced degrees in math, science "who have job offers in those fields from U.S. companies.", but he also said there are 23 million Americans already out of work.
He vetoed a bill as Massachusetts governor in 2005 that would have given women who were raped access to emergency contraception, but now he debated that every woman in America should have access to contraceptives.
He often shouts out that "government does not create jobs", but now he said he would, as president, create 12 million jobs.
He is in favor of reversing the “nationalization of the student loan market”, cut Pell Grants for one million students and borrow from parents instead, but now he wants to make sure we keep our Pell — Pell Grant program growing and we’re also going to have our loan program so that people are able to afford school.

He was against coal power plants and now he is all for coal (Obama said Romney has changed his tune about coal, claiming that in Massachusetts he "stood in front of a coal plant and pointed at it and said, ‘This plant kills.’" Romney was the newly elected governor when a showdown erupted over the coal-burning Salem Harbor Power Station. Obama quoted Romney accurately when he said the governor entered the controversy by saying the plant "kills people." We - factcheck- rate his statement True.)
He was for cutting nearly 300 diplomatic security positions, foreign affairs spending by 10 percent in 2013 and even more in 2016, but now he is for more diplomatic security positions, more armored vehicles, security technology and embassy construction and upgrades.
He vowed if he were elected president he would veto the Dream Act, but now favors a path to permanent citizenship for minors in the country illegally.
He embraced cheap Chinese labor and loose environmental regulations while at Bain, but now he preaches: “How is it China’s been so successful in taking away our jobs? Well, let me tell you how: by cheating.”
He trashed the two-state solution between Israel and Palestine in his chicken diners a few months ago, but now he pledges to recommit to goal of an independent Palestinian state.
He said he would turn his back on the 47% free loaders but now he will take care of the crack heads, juvenile delinquents, pregnant teens, the unemployed, the disabled, the poor without GEDs.
He promised to repeal Obamacare on the first day in the White House but now he is for all the good things.
He was for repealing Dodd-Frank but now said some of the regulations are good for the country.
He will not cut taxes 20% across the board but now said the rich will not pay lower taxes than today.
He said he is against all subsidizes but the $2b for big oil is okay AND he himself loves Green Energy.
I (a one-percenter) was backing up when this light pole came out of nowhere and smashed into the bumper of my Mercedes. I was turning left, but somebody was blocking the lane, so, trying to be polite, I switched my turn indicator and cut through my kid’s boarding school parking lot, but I didn’t have no way of knowing the chain was up on the driveway at that time of day, because it never is. When the transmission went into reverse, Mr. Brown (a 47 percenter) was standing too close to my car, and the door handle caught his coat sleeve and drug him across the street into the gas pump that blew up. I tried to give him first aid on the mouth, but he had already swallowed this big wad of gum that fireman had to pull out with his fingers. I think Mr. Brown almost bit off one of the fireman’s fingers and didn’t have the courtesy to say he was sorry.

    • You remind me of the youth vote! In '08, Obama got all those $2 and $5 donations! Not this year and they (the youth) will just not show!! Women and Jews are just switching, maybe in '08 they hated Bush but they don't hate Mitt!!
