About that "makers vs. takers" thing

You might have noticed that Asian-Americans, the country's highest-earning ethnic group, went 73% for Obama. Asian-Americans are disproportionately its successful entrepreneurs, its leading, scientists, doctors, lawyers, accountants and other professionals. They are overwhelmingly "makers" with the lowest percentage of people receiving government aid of any ethnic group..

And they went 73% for Obama, a higher percentage of support than he got from Latino voters.

Now why do you suppose that happened? I'll tell you why it happened. Because Asian-Americans could see quite clearly that the GOP has a big fat blinking neon sign that reads "White Christian Europeans Welcome" outside its front door and another one reading "Servants Entrance" for everybody else.

Asian-Americans, our most financially successful (and fastest growing) ethnic group, should have voted Republican in this election. Instead, 3 our of 4 voted for Obama. And they will keep voting Democrat until the GOP puts out the welcome mat and throws out the trash..
