Congratulations: This is the kind of success you voted for when you re-elected President Obama.
Food Stamps Surge to Record Levels; According to Delayed Post-Election Report.
The Food Stamps report was "unusually late" this month. The report reveals not only record high users of the unsustainable entitlement program, but records the biggest monthly increase in one year. The report is typically released at the end of the month or within the first day or two of the following month, if the end of the month falls on a weekend.
The Brevard Times reports that the report was released "unusually late." The program's name was progressively sanitized in 2009 to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program or "SNAP". With an all-time record high of 47,102,780, the bleak numbers are representative of another ugly statistic: new SNAP and Social Security Disability Recipients outweigh the number of Americans who have gotten jobs by a lot.
As cited in the report:
Nearly 421,000 new month from the July 2012 figure of 46,681,917. Almost 2 million more participants were added in the last year when compared to the August 2011 figure of 45,794,474.
More of the same and more of this to come and worse.
Wow, have you seen the state-level report? Texas leads in the production of welfare queens, with some 4 million -- more even than the much more populous California. Other states with disproportionately high numbers of food stamp recipients: North Carolina, Tennesee, Florida -- even Arizona.
Not really surprising. Obama and his croonies are willing to do anything to win. I bet the that 2% growth in the economy ends up being a lot less too when they re-adjust it. And you can bet unemployment will "unexpectedly" pop up past 8% soon. Too may suckers out there to buy the #$%$. they are fed by the left.
