"We had a very constructive meeting," proclaimed Boehner.

"I think it was a very constructive meeting," declared Democratic Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.

"It was a very constructive meeting," agreed Democratic House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.

"I can only echo the observations of the other leaders that it was a constructive meeting," said Republican Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell.

    • The market should have rallied last Friday but the option traders facing expiration deadline belated the bull run.

    • Yeah, one big happy family.

Sounds like Boehner and McConnell are getting ready to bend over and take what the Prez and Democrats give them. Seeing as they have done this many times before it shouldn't hurt near as much as it has in the past. So goes the current Republican leadership.

And of course they could be saying this because they all know if they say otherwise the market will take another steep dive. Look what's happen with just the word "consturctive". Might we see plus double-digit numbers with 2 words?

Against my better sense of reality I hope it really turns out to be something we can all live with. A true compromise.
