Let States Secede: Pay their share of National Debt First?

No one will want their US debt transferred to Alabama or Texas. Once these States pay back to the US Treasury their share of the $16,000,000,000,000, they are free to go.

Of course, these states don't have 1/100th of that amount. We'd have to take bits and pieces, like, all of the Gulf coast, all harbors, river ports, etc, Most office buildings would have to have 99 year leases written to finance. What NY bank is going to let their secured asset go out of the USA, to a redneck, grammar school educated politicians running an Ayn Rand styled government?

In other words, the states would be flat broke with no assets. Deserts, swamps, and decaying inner cities.

But then again, they could pray to Jesus to deliver them. Deliver them what, I don't know, but pray mightily, I say unto you!
