BUY BUY.. HP has 60 billion cash.. only 11 Billion cash pushing to toilet is nothing..
You're a little high with that $60 billion, as that would provide more than $20 for each HPQ share. That's certainly not the case. I think there is still a lot of cash, though, it's a little under $20 billion in cash and cash equivalents, not $60 billion. It's still a lot of cash to decide what to do with. Maybe higher dividends? And they might try to buy some other company, too, although hopefully more carefully this time, if they do that.
They already are proactively paying down debt with their cash. Funds are heading into R/D as well since Meg is bent on offering way better, sexier, products. Also concentrating on the enterprise sector as well with the new enterprise tablet. I can definately see this ride up to at least 16 ish in the next few months although Id love a higher div payout, I doubt that would happen, it was just raised and raising it again can actually be seen as a desperate move.
What did your mothers teatch you about writeoffs? What are the writeoffs for?
As long as you earn money you have to try to free them from tax.
Ever heard about mountains of offshore money that have to come back home
tax free? How the #$%$§$ else if not invested in Autonomy? That buy was the best
work in decades:)
