Obama Will Not Negotiate on the Debt Ceiling!

Probably, he'll say: 'we're taking the sequester, as is, or you drop all future debt ceiling hostage taking."

The GOP will get smashed: first, the vast majority of the sequester cuts are in GOP districts, and those jobs will never come back.

Second, if the debt ceiling is crashed, the economy dives, and the GOP loses again. No one is going to blame Obama. The GOP is swept out, and by 2016, the economy is booming. It gives Hilary 8 years of 100% Dem congress.

By 2024 all vestiges of GOP idiocy will be off the law books and out of the Supreme Court.

    • None of it really matters anymore. By the time Obama is out of office, the USA will have either started defaulting on debts, or inflation will be so high as a result of printing money that we won't have an economy to worry about.

      • True or false: Deficits have grown each year under Obama.

        Obama Deficits Bush Deficits
        FY 2013*: $901 billion FY 2009†: $1,413 billion
        FY 2012: $1,089 billion FY 2008: $459 billion
        FY 2011: $1,300 billion FY 2007: $161 billion
        FY 2010: $1,293 billion

Bush's budget was in place until October 2009.

Cheer up! The Bush tax cuts, the unfunded wars, and the unfunded Medicare drug benefit grew the deficits.

#1 and #2 are being fixed. Lift the cap on medicare and SS and all will be well.

Why doesn't the GOP start using arithmetic, rather than the Bible to solve our problems?
