2 years ago when the SS 2% cut was made I thought it was a bad idea. But, taking advantage of the situation I stocked another 2% in the ROTH 401(k). As of Jan 1, the wife and I are short $300+ a month going back to SS in addition to the medical insurance rate hike which I though Obamacare was going to protect me. Oblunder said so himself.
In stead of scaling back the 401k, I decided to cut loose the lawn guy. You know, the small business guy that obummer is helping out so much! Also cutting out 1 trip to the restaraunt a week. The libs didn't like me getting fat anyway and I am sure the waiters won't miss their generous tips I usually leave. They can maybe collect some of the Oblunder foodstamps or maybe one day the extended unemployment.
I don't know if you're kidding or not but I fired my lawn guy a couple years ago because all he wanted to do was cut and edge the grass. I couldn't get him to rake pine needles and trim the bushes because it was too labor intensive. I need the exercise so I do all of the lawn work including the leaves, pine needles, and all of the trimming of bushes and trees.
I no longer go out to restaurants for lunch and my doctor was first to notice that my blood pressure has dropped down to normal.
