    "Death of the PC"

    This is printed all the time but what does it matter? Work that used to be done on PCs will now be done on laptops or pads or from servers, thus computing product will be sold, and a lot of it by HP. Just because the PC is declining in sales does NOT mean an end to the computer industry. Truly, the opposite is the case, as now everyone carries a computer with them in the form of a smartphone, pad or laptop. What is lost in PC sales and use is more than made up by the growth those others. The horse and buggy gave way to the car, but people didn't stop road travel!

      Problem with HP is that we are still making horse and carriages while the ROW are migrating to rails and cars. Where is HP's tablet? How about PDAs that John Young was talking about in the late 80s, that is now known as mobile devices?
