Obama looked back to the crowd before exiting the stage in 2008 inauguration event

He seemed to have mumbled something: "good luck, mr. Murphy."

many observers thought it was a casual remark concerning a political opponent named murphy who was set to block his second term agenda. However, upon checking, there was no murphy in either the senate or the house; and none in known right wing super-pac leadership.

over the past four years, many reporters questioned the white house insiders as to what the - 'good luck, mr. Murphy' statement meant, but the white house always responded with - no comment.

last sunday, during a break in taping 60 minutes, a reporter brought up the question about mr murphy. obama smiled and said mr. Murphy had died and he saw no reason not to answer the question. Here is his answer to "who was mr murphy":

in 1968, when he was a kid attending the prestigious punahou school. He was playing basketball with a friend in the backyard. His friend overthrew the ball, which landed in his neighbor's yard by their bedroom window.

his neighbors were mr. And mrs. Murphy. As he leaned down to pick up the ball, young obama heard mrs. Murphy shouting at mr. Murphy,

"sex! You want sex? you'll get sex when the darkie next door became the president of the united states!"
