HP hates it's customers. Anyone ever have a positive experience with HP support? HP has spent a ton of money trying to seperate itself from it's customer base. Remember the monitors it sold for years with very poor capacitors? Yep, I fixed my monitor for $1.57 in parts by replacing the power capacitors. These were made by a Taiwanese firm who had hacked the design from a Chinese firm but had the wrong electrolytes which reduced the lifetime of the capacitors from 7 years to less than 2 years. Finding infor from HP was impossible. They his this info for years. Never owned up.
all I wanted was a MS word serial number to activate my MS package and they said it will cost me 59 bucks to get it (the netbook was over a year old and had a new HD put in and HPQ forgot to write the code on the back of the computer). I said #$%$.
