Republicans Dejected: US Unemployment Drops to 7.7%
GOP Chorus: "It just can't be! Can't we include those people who've retired in the number? Can't we include those people who's jobs were outsourced by Mitt Romney, so now they're working for 1/2 pay? Can't we include people who's careers were ended by the Bush Recession?"
No, folks, numbers is numbers. Stay away from math, it's not your strong suit. Tell us about burning bushes, and parting seas, and how many animals were on the Ark, then you're in your element: fantasy.
How do these great numbers stack up, year over year? What about 2012, we must have crushed those numbers today, no? Unc is sure this is an upward trajectory, how about it Unc? Rah?
Sorry to talk numbers again and not House of Saud, but we're down 227,000 jobs for the same 2 months last year (Jan-Feb, to be clear). 585K last year, you can figure the rest out, I'm sure. All very smart.
All for the low,low price of 1.2 triliion in stimulus.
