More jobs to be lost from obama policies

President Obama just announced his climate change plan - which puts a target on the jobs of tens of thousands of American. This is the same team that has brought you Obamacare, this horrible immigration bill they are trying to sneak by us. The President appeasing the hard left wing of his party with more job killing regulations instead of focusing on solutions to put Americans back to work. Where are the jobs Mr President?!
The President knows his bad policies have no shot of passing through Congress, so he's is going to rely on executive orders to again circumvent the people and the legislative process. President Obama's own climate advisor has said, "a war on coal is exactly what's needed" in this county. You can also watch as your utility bills start to necessarily increase substantially in the future. This hurts average Americans even more with wages stagnant for the past 4 to 5 years. But there is no stagnation in the cost of living and it remains a major factor for why 76% of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck. Does this President care for anyone or anything beyond his liberal/socialist economy killing agenda?

    • If you have read any of my recent posts, you know I'm not an Obama fan. But I have to take issue with you on the question of reducing emissions from power plants. Whether or not substituting natural gas for coal in power plants increases the cost of electricity really turns on the relative costs of producing the two fuels. Because of new technology, the cost of natural gas today is (usually but not always) as low as or lower than the cost of producing a thermal equivalent amount of coal. If the costs are roughly equal, the additional benefits of moving away from coal are enormous. Coal is a dirty fuel and regardless of the "clean coal" propaganda that occasionally pops up on TV, it will never burn as clear as natural gas. Not only does switching to natural gas reduce CO2 it also gets rid of the nasty particulate matter in smoke, including some potent carcinogens and water-poisoning acids. In other words, costs being roughly equal, switching power plants from coal to natural gas is a no-brainer.

When you actively dislike someone, it's hard to credit them with anything positive. Your dislike of Obama is getting in your way with regard to thinking clearly about this issue.

    • Your cokehead clown George W. Bust had by far the worst "job creation" record ever.

      Ever Rupert Murdoch said so!
