    HP DRIP

Does anyone know of a service that you cand buy you first 10 shares of HP through and who will transfer it to HP's DRIP transfer agent ? I spoke with Moneypaper and they are not offering HP. They do offer Charles Schwab and Boeing - a couple of good companies with good DRIP programs.

    • The best way to buy a small number of shares is to open an Ameritrade account. Whereupon, you can buy and sell for $8 a trade. Otherwise, use your existing brokerage and buy 100 shares. Ask your broker to put 10 of them in your name, then sell the 90 on the next pop up. There is no charge to put some of the shares in your name (I did this with the INTC DRIP). You must deposit $2000 to open an Ameritrade account.
